Apps I Love

iPad

Flipboard
My favorite app. I absolutely love Flipboard. Every morning after I wake up I drink my coffe while I read Flipboard. You don't need any other app for reading news, Twitter or Facebook, it's all in there. Just add all the sources you need and Flipboard will serve the content for you.

Zite
Unlike Flipboard, Zite requires from you topics or keywords, not sources. It will then go and find sources based on your topics. In time it learns what you like and refines its results. Zite is a great way to find things that you could not find easily otherwise.

AppShopper
Everybody likes to track what's new or discounted in the App Store. I use AppShopper for this. Is nice and fast and unlike similar apps, it provides only relevant notifications.

iBooks
I read tech books on my iPad. Epubs. iBooks is my favorite way to read them.

iA Writer
"The elegance of simplicity" I would call it. God, how beautiful is this tiny app!

Dropbox
Why would iPad need a USB port when there is Dropbox? If you using two or more gadgets/computers/internet devices, than you should use Dropbox. Essential stuff. I keep all the projects I work on in a folder synchronized with Dropbox so I have the projects everywhere. I can run them, test them, modify them from anywhere and the changes will propagate everywhere. On dropbox.com you can replace files with previous versions when you make mistakes.

Textastic
There are times when I feel the urge to edit code on iPad, especially HTML & Co. Textastic is the best tool for the job. Yes, it can connect to Dropbox, so I can transfer my source files directly in Textastic and work on them.

iTunes U
I never knew how great can be to attend an online course. (I started with the Paul Hagerty's "Developing apps for iOS" and is great so far. Sure, Objective-C looks a little weird but I suppose every new language is like that at the beginning.)

Web

Nothing yet. Hopefully I'll find something in the future. (I know, Google Docs is cool - but I cannot really say I love it)
